The Wood
It all starts here, properly seasoned wood is the foundation for any heirloom instrument. I want my instruments to be around when I’m no longer on this earth and the best way to promise that to my customers is to use materials that will stand the test of time.All woods for Madsen guitars are stored in a climate controlled setting for at a minimum 3 months and most for several years. I source wood from all over the world, whether it’s locally grown Basswood or rare Rosewoods from distant jungles, all find their way into Madsen instruments.
