The Modern Dread shape is an original design to Madsen Guitars.  Like the name implies, this is modernized version of the Traditional Dreadnaught.  A narrower waist, sleeker upper bout, slightly deeper body depth to create a new take on a classic design.  Achieving the same power  and versatility as the venerable dread body shape.  This body shape along with an on-board pickup preamp system and cutaway, makes a great stage guitar for modern jam-grass  entertainers.
