Traditional Dreadnaughts (TD)

Handcrafted Acoustic Guitars

Traditional Dreadnaught (TD)

The Dreadnaught has been in use for close to 100 years and still has effectively produced great tone for every imaginable type of music. Never seeming to lose its ability to be the most versatile type of body shape in any guitar manufacturing’s lineup, the dread has great lows and piercing highs. Here at Madsen Guitars, we make our dreadnaught stand out among the pack by employing our own customized bracing pattern to give the most balanced tone. We do this to deliver equal volume across all the strings in all fretted positions. Yet still retaining a vintage tone, the hope is to satisfy modern players that are executing more than just first position patterns.
